Adrienne E. Eaton is professor and chair of the Labor Studies and Employment Relations department at Rutgers University.
She holds a doctorate in industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on, among other topics, labor-management partnerships, union organizing through neutrality and card-check recognition agreements and the impact of unionization on various categories of employees including, most recently, graduate student employees.
She’s the is co-author with Thomas Kochan, Paul Adler and Robert McKersie of the book, Healing Together: The Kaiser Permanente Labor-Management Partnership; she's editor, with Jeffrey Keefe, of Employment Dispute Resolution in the Changing Workplace, and author of numerous articles published in such journals as Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Industrial Relations, Labor Studies Journal, and Advances in Industrial and Labor Relations.
Eaton is a member of the editorial boards of the Labor Studies Journal and the Journal of Workplace Rights. She is currently a member of New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission.
