Chris Rhomberg is an associate professor of sociology at Fordham University. His research interests are urban sociology, political sociology, race and ethnicity, labor and labor movements, comparative historical methods and social theory.
He is the author of The Broken Table: The Detroit Newspaper Strike and the State of American Labor (Russell Sage Foundation, 2012) and No There There: Race, Class and Political Community in Oakland (2004, University of California Press).
Rhomberg earned his bachelor's degree from Brandeis, his master's from Rutgers and his doctorate from the University of California Berkeley. He is a Labor and Employment Relations Association member.
