Christine E. Bishop is the Atran Professor of Labor Economics and director of the Ph.D. program at thle Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
She has expertise in health economics, the economics of long-term care and the economics of aging.
Bishop's studies in long-term care take into account both actors (provider and recipient behaviord) and factors (costs, production efficiency, reimbursement, financing and utilization of nursing homes and home health services).
She received her master's and doctorate from Harvard University, her bachelor's degree from Radcliffe College.
