David Weil's picture

David Weil is a Boston University School of Management professor and Everett V. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar, Markets, Public Policy and Law. Weil is also co-director and research fellow of Transparency Policy Project at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

His research interests include public and labor market policy; regulatory performance; industrial and labor relations; and supply-chain restructuring.

He has written two books: Full Disclosure: The Perils and Promise of Transparency and A Stitch in Time: Lean Retailing and the Transformation of Manufacturing.

Weil received his bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell and his doctorate in public policy from Harvard. He is the topic leader of the EPRN Employment Regulations research cluster.
