Elisabeth Reynolds is executive director of the Industrial Performance Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
She has worked as a policy analyst at the Institute for Research in Public Policy and as a Canadian think tank researcher. She also worked for Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst in London.
Reynolds' doctoral dissertation looked at global biomanufacturing and the competitiveness of the nation and Massachusetts in the high tech and growing young industry. She has advised the state of Massachusetts on its biomanufacturing strategy and helped found the Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Roundtable, an industry/academic collaboration that addresses innovation and policy issues.
Reynolds earned her bachelor's degree from Harvard in government, her master's degree in economics from the University of Montreal and her doctorate from MIT in urban and regional studies.
