Harry C. Katz is the Kenneth F. Kahn Dean and the Jack Sheinkman Professor of Collective Bargaining at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University.
His major fields of academic and research interest are industrial relations and labor economics. He also has expertise in the automotive and telecommunications industries, contract negotiations, labor-management cooperation, work teams and work process redsign and worker training.
He received his bachelor's and doctorate degress in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. After teaching at MIT he came to the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University in 1985.
