Hoyt N. Wheeler is Distinguished Professor of Management Emeritus, at the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He is a past president and longtime member of the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
His fields of research include labor and employment law, employee discipline, labor unions, collective bargaining, and international and comparative industrial relations.
He is the author or co-author of several books: Industrial Conflict: An Integrative Theory; Workplace Justice: Employment Obligations in International Perspective; The Future of the American Labor Movement; and Workplace Justice without Unions.
He holds his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin (industrial relations); his J.D. from the University of Virginia; and bachelor's degree (cum laude) from Marshall University.
