Larry W. "Chip" Hunter is an associate professor of management and human resources and director of the Strategic Human Resource Management Progam at the University of Wisconsin.
He has received grants from the Sloan, Russell Sage, Rockefeller and National Science foundations as for his workforce, employment and quality organizations research.
Hunter received his doctorate in industrial relations and human resource management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology; his master's in philosophy, politics and economics from Lincoln College at Oxford University; his bachelor's degree in economics summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
Hunter is the topic leader of the EPRN Industry Studies/Strategies research cluster.
