Matthew M. Bodah is a University of Rhode Island professor of labor relations and chair of the economics department. He also is research director at URI's Schmidt Labor Research Center.
Bodah had done research on project labor agreements and workforce demands in green building. He is doing comparative research on political pressures on the U.S. National Labor Relations Board and on the German Federal Labor Court.
He has also contributed chapters to two books: Justice on the Job: Perspectives on the Erosion of Collective Bargaining in the United States and Labor-Management Relations in the Public Sector: Redefining Collective Bargaining. He co-edited Workplace Injuries and Diseases: Prevention and Compensation,
Bodah received his doctorate from Michigan State University.
