Michael Reich is Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and Director of the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment.
His recent research has focused on minimum wages, unemployment, and the political economy of contemporary capitalist systems and their crises. He has also published books and papers on racial inequality, labor market segmentation, living wages and on work and pay in the U.S. and Japan.
Reich is a longtime Labor and Employment Relations Association member.
