Mitchell’s Musings 1-30-12: Matters of Degree

A recent U.S. Supreme Court decision involving privacy and GPS tracking and congressional controversy over copyright protection for intellectual property on the Internet point to advancing technology and the need for courts and lawmakers to adjust.  In particular, the current practice of publishing public payrolls by name of employee needs rethinking.
